You will need to download my zip file here. Open a new image 700 x 425, transparent. Open images supplied and minimize in PSP ready for use. Foreground Color #F2ECD0 Background Color #DFDFDE (I've included the larger door in layers format, as well as merged, should you wish to change colors/trim or glass). Remember: Save your work after every step. 1. Floor: Add a new layer, selections, load from disk. Styles, background, patterns, choose carpet sample, scale 100, angle 0, flood fill. Deselect. Save. 2. Foyer Floor: Add a new layer, selections, load from disk. Styles, background, patterns, choose marble sample, scale 100, angle 0, flood fill. Deselect. Save. 3. Foyer Wall: a) Add a new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill foreground. b) Colors, Adjust, Brighten/Contrast -20, 0. Deselect. Save. 4. Entrance Door: Open image supplied, edit, copy, close small image. Add new layer, selections, load from disk, edit, paste into selection. Deselect. Save. 5. Left Wall: a) Add a new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill foreground. b) Colors, Adjust, Brighten/Contrast -5, 0. Deselect. Save. 6. Right Wall: a) Add a new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill foreground. b) Colors, Adjust, Brighten/Contrast -10, 0. Deselect. Save. 7. Inner Door: Open image supplied, edit, copy, close small image. Add new layer, selections, load from disk, edit, paste into selection. Deselect. Save. 8. Doorway Top: Turn Styles, background from pattern to paint. a) Add a new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill background color. b) Effects, 3D, inner bevel, round, width 10, smoothness 100, depth 8, ambience 0, shininess 10, color white, angle 315, intensity 50, elevation 30. Deselect. Save. 9. Door Support: a) Add a new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill background color. b) Effect, inner bevel, same settings. 10. Windows Corner: a) Add a new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill background color. b) Effects, inner bevel, same settings. Deselect. Save. 11. Windows Lower: a) Add a new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill background color. b) Effects, inner bevel, change angle 0, other settings same. Deselect. 12. Windows Upper: a) Add a new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill background color. b) Effects, inner bevel, same settings. Deselect. Save. 13. Ceiling Below Balcony: Add a new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill #D5D3AC. Deselect. Smooth Edges. Save. 14. Pillar Left: Open image supplied, edit, copy, close small image. Add new layer, selections, load from disk, edit, paste into selection. Deselect. Save. 15. Pillar Right: Add new layer, selections, load from disk, edit, paste into selection. Deselect. Save. 16. Balcony: Add a new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill #F2EDC0. Deselect. Smooth Edges. 17. Railing: Open image supplied, edit, copy, close small image. Add new layer, selections, load from disk, edit, paste into selection. Deselect. Effects, Sharpen. Save. 18. Door Hinges: a) Add a new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill #B6A44B. b) Effects, 3D, inner bevel, round, width 10, smoothness 100, depth 8, ambience 0, shininess 10, color white, angle 315, intensity 50, elevation 30. Effects, Sharpen. Deselect. Save. 19. Glass: (Optional) Plain Glass: To obtain the correct angle of gradient, windows upper, lower and corner will need to be done separately. Set up: Foreground #FFFFFF, Background #C0C0C0. Styles, Background, choose gradient, Linear, Edit, #1 Foreground-Background, Angle 315, Repeats 0, Invert UNchecked. a) Highlight corner windows layer, use magic wand, default settings, click outside the window, selections, invert, selections, modify, contract 2, add new layer, flood fill with gradient. Deselect. b) Layers palette, move the glass layer below the window layer, lower the layer opacity to 25 and rename. c) Do the same for upper then lower windows. Deselect. Save. Finished! Great work.
