Open a new image 700 x 425 transparent.
Open samples supplied and minimize ready for use.
The colors I use are only a guide, feel free to change them.
Remember to Save your work after every layer.

1. Floor:
Setup Styles, background, pattern, choose carpet image, scale 100, angle 0.
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill with carpet. Deselect. Save.

2. Skylight 1:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, #EADAB6. Deselect.

3. Skylight 2:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, #EADAB6.
Colors, adjust, brightness/contrast, -30, 0. Deselect.

4. Ceiling 1:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, #8EB1B1. Deselect.

5. Ceiling 2:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, #8EB1B1. Colors, adjust,
brightness/contrast, -20, 0. Deselect. Effects, drop shadow, vertical 1,
horizontal 1, opacity 51, blur 2.5, color black. Save.

6. Wall Left 1:
Note: Change foreground color to #EADAB6 and background color to #6D4435,
as we will be using these colors for the rest of the tutorial.
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, foreground color. Deselect.

7. Wall Left 2:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, foreground color.
Colors, adjust, brightness/contrast, 10, 0. Deselect.

8. Wall Left 3:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, foreground color.
Colors, adjust, brightness/contrast, -10, 0. Deselect.

9. Steps:
Open image supplied, edit, copy, close small image. Add new layer, selections,
load from disk. Edit, copy into selection. Deselect. Save.

10. Wall Left 4:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, foreground color. Colors, adjust,
brightness/contrast, 10, 0. Deselect. Add new layer, effects, drop shadow,
same settings. Use your selection tool, rectangle, and remove the lower drop shadow
along the bottom of the wall. Save.

11. Handrails:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, background color. Deselect.
Effects, inner bevel, round, width 2, smoothness 0, depth 2, ambience -8,
shininess 0, color white, angle 315, intensity 50, elevation 30. Same layer.
Effects, drop shadow, same settings. Save.

12. Wall End:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, foreground color.
Colors, adjust, brightness/contrast, -25, 0. Deselect.

13. Wall Right 1:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, foreground color.
Colors, adjust, brightness/contrast, 20, 0. Deselect. Save.

14. Windows:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, background color. Deselect.
Effects, inner bevel, same settings.

15. Patio Doorway:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, background color. Deselect.
Effects, inner bevel, same settings. Save.

16. Patio Door 1:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, background color. Use the
paintbrush tool on size 20 to completely cover the fine lines. Colors, adjust,
brightness/contrast, -25, 0. Deselect.

17. Patio Door 2:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, foreground color with the
paintbrush tool. Deselect.
Effects, inner bevel, change width 1, depth 1, other settings stay the same.
Effects, drop shadow, change blur to 6.5 other settings the same. Save.

18. Patio Door 3:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, background color. Deselect.

19. Wall Right 2:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, foreground color. Deselect.

20. Doorway:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, background color. Deselect.
Effects, inner bevel, change width 2, depth 2, other settings stay the same. Save.
