Open a new image 700 x 425 transparent.
Open images supplied and minimize ready for use.
The colors I use are only a guide, feel free to change them.
Remember to Save your work after every layer.
1. Patio:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, #C0C0C0. Deselect.
Effects, texture, fine leather, small cracks preset. Name and save your work.
2. Patio Railing:
Open image supplied, edit, copy, close small image. Add a new layer, selections,
load from disk. Edit, paste into selection. Deselect. Effects, drop shadow,
vertical 1, horizontal 1, opacity 50, blur 1.2, color black.
3. Floor - Lower:
Setup: Styles, background, patterns, choose wood image, scale 100, angle 0.
Add new layer and flood fill with the wood. Effects, plugins, choose MuRa's
Perspective Tiling, settings: 80, 0, 0, 42, 0, 0, 100, 255. Crop box unchecked.
OK.
4. Wall - Back:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, #E3D5BA. Deselect.
5. Patio Doors:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, #E3D5BA. Deselect.
Colors, adjust, Brightness/Contrast, -40, 0. Effects, inner bevel, round,
width 1, smoothness 21, depth 1, ambience -8, shininess 0, color white,
angle 315, intensity 50, elevation 30. OK. Save.
6: Door Handles:
Open image supplied, edit, copy, close small image. Edit, paste as new layer,
place on patio door. Deselect.
7. Windows:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, #E3D5BA. Deselect.
Colors, adjust, Brightness/Contrast, -40, 0. Effects, inner bevel, same
settings.
8. Floor - Upper:
Change Styles, background from wood to carpet, same settings. Add new layer,
selections, load from disk, flood fill with carpet. Deselect. Save.
9. Wall - Middle - Upper:
Change Styles, background from carpet to wallpaper, scale 25, angle 0.
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill with wallpaper. Deselect.
10. Wall - Middle - Lower:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, use your eyedropper tool to select
a color from the wallpaper, flood fill. Deselect. I used #DAE0D5.
11. Doorway - Upper:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, #60514E. Deselect.
Effects, inner bevel, same settings.
12. Doorway - Lower:
Same as above.
13. Doors - Single:
Open image supplied, edit, copy, paste as new layer, use your mover tool to
position on the wall. Second door, edit, paste as new selection, image,
mirror and position on other side of doorway. Deselect. Save.
14. Wall - Front:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, #E3D5BA. Deselect.
15. Wall - Front Trim:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, #E3D5BA. Colors, adjust,
B/C, -20, 0. Deselect. Effects, inner bevel, same settings.
16. Railings:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, #FEFEFE. Deselect.
Effects, drop shadow, same settings. Save.
17. Handrails:
Add new layer, selections, load from disk, flood fill, #60514E. Colors, adjust,
B/C -20, 0. Deselect.
18. Pillars:
Open image supplied, edit, copy, close small image. Add a new layer, selections,
load from disk. Edit, paste into selection. Deselect. Edit, paste as new layer,
image, mirror, position on right side of lower doorway. Save.
19. Stairs:
Open image supplied, edit, copy, close small image. Add a new layer, selections,
load from disk. Edit, paste into selection. Deselect. Edit, paste as new layer,
image, mirror, position on right side of lower doorway. Save.
Finished. Enjoy decorating
your foyer.
