Open a new image 700 x 425, transparent.  
Remember to save your work after each step.

1.  Middle Room: 
Add new layer, Selections, load from disk, flood fill #C8BEBE.  Deselect. 

2.  Window: 
Add new layer, Selections, load from disk, flood fill White.  Deselect. 

3.  Left Room: 
Add new layer, Selections, load from disk, flood fill #C8BEBE.  Deselect. 

4.  Ceiling: 
Add new layer, Selections, load from disk, flood fill #F2F3F8.  Deselect.

5.  Floor: 
a)  Add new layer, Selections, load from disk, flood fill #C0C0C0.  
b)  Effects, Texture Effects, Texture, My Paper. Size 25%, Smoothness 0,
Depth 3, Ambience -8, Shininess 0, Color White, Angle 0, Intensity 40, 
	Elevation 40.  Deselect. 

6.  Hallway Walls: 
Add new layer, Selections, load from disk, flood fill #FFFFFF.  Deselect. 

7.  Door Frames: 
a)  Add new layer, Selections, load from disk, flood fill Black.  Deselect.
b)  Smooth edges with draw tool.   Effects, Inner Bevel, preset, Metallic.  Save.

8.  Right Wall: 
Add new layer, Selections, load from disk, flood fill #D1B9B9.  Deselect.	

9.  Front Door Opaque Glass: 
a)   Add new layer, Selections, load from disk. 
b)  Open the glass sample supplied and minimize.  Styles, Background, select the
glass sample, Scale 100, Angle 0, flood fill.  Deselect.
c)  Layer Palette, lower the layer opacity to 50.

10.  Front Door Frame: 
Add new layer, Selections, load from disk, flood fill Black.  Deselect.

11.  Front Door Pattern:
a)  While still on Door Frame layer,  magic wand, hold down the shift key and 
choose the areas you prefer to color.   
b)  Add new layer, Selections, Modify, expand 2, flood fill.  Deselect.  
I used #BEA6A6.
c)  On your layer palette, move this layer below the Front Door Frame layer.
(I have included a selection file, already modified, if you prefer to use it.)

12.  Stairs One: 
Add new layer, Selections, load from disk, flood fill #A6A6A6.  Deselect. 

13.  Stairs Two: 
Add new layer, Selections, load from disk, flood fill Black.  Deselect. 

14.  Divider Wall: 
Add new layer, Selections, load from disk, flood fill #BEA6A6.  Deselect. 

15.  Divider Top: 
a)  Add new layer, Selections, load from disk, flood fill #BEA6A6.  
b)  Colors, Adjust, Brightness/Contrast, -40, 0.  Deselect.  Save. 

16.  Entryway Steps: 
a)  Add new layer, Selections, load from disk, flood fill #A6A6A6.  Deselect.
b)  Effects,  same as #5.

17.  Entry Steps Shadow: 
Add new layer, Selections, load from disk, flood fill #838383.  Deselect. 

18.  Pillars: 
a)  Add new layer, Selections, load from disk, flood fill #BEA6A6.  
b)  Colors, Adjust, B/C 20, 0.   Selections, Float.
c)  Effects, Cutout, Vertical 6, Horizontal 6, Opacity 28, Blur 8.8, Shadow 
Color Black.  Repeat the cutout changing V/H to  -6.  Deselect.
d)  Remove the top and lower dark section of the pillar.  Retouch tool, Soften these areas. 
e)  Edit, copy, paste new layer and position new pillar, use deformation tool
to decrease height.  Repeat for third pillar.
